Bell Bird Lodge is a comfortable, spacious facility perfect for large group activities. Popular with schools, families, clubs and social groups, as well as backpacking, it can sleep up to forty people in bunk beds. The large living area adapts itself to many uses. It has a large, fully equipped kitchen, containing:
- two sinks
- two ovens
- six-slice toaster
- 2 full sized fridges
- upright freezer
- walk-in pantry
- family sized microwave oven
- serving trays, pots, pans, plates and cutlery for forty people
- tea towels and oven mitts, dishwashing liquid, dishcloths
The lounge area has a log burner (fuel supplied) T.V. and video player (videos available in the T.V. room), comfortable lounge seating and a dining area. The bunkrooms have between four and fourteen beds, and are supplied with ducted heating from the log burner. Pillows are supplied, but no bedding or linen, please bring your own sheets, pillowslips, duvets, sleeping bags, and towels. The Lodge has its own gas barbecues for no additional
charge. The ablution block (2 showers and toilets in men’s and women’s – mobility access in each) is approximately 12 metres from the lodge along a well-lit path.
The main camp ablution block may also be used. The camp laundry is available for use by Bell Bird Lodge users (tokens available from camp store). Please Note: Price will vary depending on group. Please contact us for a quote.
